2nd Shift Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

Position Location

Miami Gardens, FL

Pay/hours for position

Hours are Monday-Friday 2:00 PM-10:30 PM

$17-19 hourly

Requirements of position

1. High School Diploma or GED, or a combination of experience and/or education in related field.
2. 12 months forklift experience, minimum of 1 year warehouse experience. Forklift Certification required.
3. Experienced driving a Stock Picker preferred.
4. Previous RF Smart (bar code scanning) experience is preferred.
5. SKILLS & ABILITIES: Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Detailed oriented.
6. Ability to work flexible work schedule and overtime.
7. Ability to work under pressure.
8. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other. Perform work accurately and thoroughly.
9. Communicate effectively with others using the spoken word. Take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.

Responsibilities of position

1. Organizing and coordinating customer related documents
2. Read orders to ascertain sizes, and quantities of merchandise
3. Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves
4. Complete order receipts
5. Prepare merchandise by labeling and placing on pallets and on wrapping machine
6. Clean and organize assigned aisle
7. Pick orders received by the Warehouse Department using Stock Picker machine. Load containers and assist in checking inventory
8. Lift cases and put them on pallets to be shipped out
9. Hand stack containers as needed
10. Assist drivers as needed
11. Maintain proper care of the Stock Picker equipment include checking the water level of the battery Perform other related duties
