About the position

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients under the direction of an RN/LVN.
• Assist patients with daily living activities including personal care, wound care, feeding, bathing, and communicating with family.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant training to obtain certification required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility, respiratory subacute facility or acute hospital setting preferred.
• CNA - State of California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Nice-to-haves

• Incumbents hired into position prior to 05/14/2019 are grandfathered with their existing education degrees.
