What unites this diverse group of businesses and individuals is our commitment to create a safer, more enriching, and sustainable world by harnessing the power of family.Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Enterprise HR Systems, the HRIS Functional Analyst Serves as a functional expert for the HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance and General Ledger processes for the Enterprise Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and ViewPoint systems. This position will work with the HRIS technical team, HR Business Partners and Shared Services team to support and maintain these systems. The position will define and document requirements, assist with design, update configuration, complete testing, review for new functionality regularly and audit for data accuracy. The position will collaborate with end users and technical resources to resolve business and system issues; while ensuring data integrity and system performance.*Qualified candidates must reside within the eastern or central time zones. Occasional travel required into the office annually as business necessitates**This position is on a fixed term contract basis, with an estimated end date of September 2027*Essential FunctionsAssist with day-to-day support - answer questions, assist with setting up and training new users, troubleshooting issues for applications supported by the HRIS team including, but not limited to Workday, and ViewPointAssist in researching new functionality delivered by the system vendors and determine impact to our current set-up and how to implementAssist with gathering data/requirements for new projectsAssist in writing documentation & creating training materials for end-users on processes and proceduresTestingCreate test plans & testing scenarios based on requirementsCreates test scripts to prove each scenario through system and user acceptance testingAssists with testing on Release updates, new programs, program changesComplete data validations & testing during projects and new developmentSet up and maintain tables/System ConfigurationHR core tables, including Departments, Locations, and Establishments, Supervisory organizationsTime calculations, schedules, absence, eligibility rulesBenefits tables including Benefit programs, Benefit plans, Eligibility rules, Event rules, and Coverage formulasQueries/ReportsWrite basic queriesRun queries/reports, as needed for customersPayroll ReportingEIB'sPrepare, Load and Audit EIB's processed in WorkdayMust be able to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic prioritiesCommunicates effectively and demonstrates ability to work in a team-oriented environmentMust be willing to work extra during peak times, when needed, to complete assignments on-time and meet deadlinesProvides well-written and effective professional and technical documentationDemonstrates effective verbal and written communicationPromotes cooperation and commitment within the team by assisting and working collaboratively with othersHolds self personally accountable to meet or exceed team expectationsAdditional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company's core values, competencies, and skills.Education QualificationsRequired Bachelor's Degree (preferably in HR or IT) or applicable experience in HRISExperience QualificationsRequired 3+ years with Workday (specifically, Core HR, Benefits and Time & Attendance)Strong computer skills working with Microsoft office including Excel, Outlook, Word and Power PointSkills and AbilitiesHighly detail driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to think broadly.Proven organizational skills with an ability to prioritize work in an environment with competing demands.Demonstrates self-awareness and desire to develop personal capabilitiesAbility to hold themselves to high standardsCourage to take initiative in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.Ability to communicate across multiple levels of the organization.Excellent verbal and written communicationDemonstrated creative thinking and problem solving, specifically around improving process efficiency.Customer service orientationAbility to maintain confidentiality and a high degree of integrityKnowledge of Viewpoint is a plus.This position requires U.S. work authorizationLicenses and CertificationsWorkday Certifications within 1 Year PreferredWorking Conditions/Physical DemandsAble to sit at a desk in front of a computer for 8 hours dailyAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.#TheHeritageGroup
