A growing, multi-location U.S.-based company in the home improvement industry is seeking a reliable After-Hours Receptionist / Virtual Assistant to support incoming calls and light administrative tasks outside of standard business hours. This role is ideal for someone who is confident on the phone, highly organized, and comfortable working independently during quieter evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Call Handling & Reception
Answer incoming calls professionally and confidently
Follow a structured decision tree to direct or assist callers
Route calls to the correct department or take accurate messages
Maintain a friendly, polished, and helpful tone at all times
Administrative Support
Log call details and update internal systems
Input customer information into CRM (e.g. Buildertrend or similar)
Assist with basic data entry and admin tasks during quieter periods
Support overflow admin tasks from the daytime EA when needed
Qualifications
3+ years experience in a client-facing / phone-based role
Excellent spoken English (clear, neutral accent is important)
Strong communication and listening skills
Comfortable following structured processes (decision trees, scripts)
High level of reliability and ability to work independently
Requirements
Technical
Experience with CRM systems (or ability to learn quickly)
Basic admin tools (Google Workspace / Excel)
Comfortable logging and organizing information accurately
